Who we are

Happy Homes Thailand (HaloHappyHomes.com) is operated by the Happy Homes Thailand team, Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand. We are responsible for the personal data you give us through this website and when you message us. Contact: contact@happyhomesthailand.com.

This policy follows Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA). If you are in the European Union, the EEA or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also gives you the rights described below.

When you book or apply for a city outside Thailand, the data protection law of that country applies too: in Malaysia, the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, as amended by the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024; in Vietnam, the Law on Personal Data Protection (Law No. 91/2025/QH15, in force since 1 January 2026) and Decree No. 356/2025/ND-CP; in the Philippines, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173); in Singapore, the Personal Data Protection Act 2012; in Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, in Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25; in Honolulu and Miami, the applicable United States federal law and the state law of Hawaii or Florida. When you book in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Berlin or Amsterdam, the GDPR applies, with the national laws of Spain, France, Germany and the Netherlands that complete it.

What we collect

What you type into our forms, or send us on LINE or WhatsApp:

  • Cleaning booking: your name, email address, phone number, building or address, unit size, service, preferred date and time, how we can get in, your LINE ID if you prefer LINE, notes, and villa photos if you add them.
  • Settling-in request: the area you're moving to, move-in date, length of stay, household size, your email address, phone number, LINE ID if you prefer LINE, and notes.
  • Referral sign-up: your name, business or condo name, what kind of business it is, your email address, phone number, LINE ID if you prefer LINE, and notes.
  • Partner application (independent cleaners and cleaning companies): whether you apply as a cleaner or a company, the company name for a company, your name, phone number, LINE ID and email if you add them, city and area, experience, whether you work alone or with a team, whether you have your own equipment, and notes.
  • Happy Homes Halo, Pools, Handyman and HQ requests: the service, the city, your name, email address, phone number, preferred date if you add it, and notes.
  • Online payment: your name, email address, booking reference and the amount. Your card or wallet details go straight to Stripe, which processes the payment; we never see them.
  • Quick quote (the booking page our ads link to): your name, email address, phone number if you add it, property type, area and preferred date.

We don't create accounts. We use one advertising tool, the Google Ads tag from Google LLC, to measure which of our ads lead to booking requests. It sets cookies and sends Google technical details such as the page you visit, your IP address and your browser. It doesn't receive what you type into our forms. We use no other advertising or analytics tools. One cookie remembers the language you choose with the language switch. Our hosting provider keeps short technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the website.

Why we use it

To reply to you, arrange and carry out the service you ask for, and keep the records the law requires. Under these laws this is processing needed to take steps at your request and to perform our agreement with you.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use the details you send us for advertising.

Who we share it with

  • The vetted local partner team assigned to your job: the details needed to do the job, such as your address, unit and booking time.
  • Resend, which delivers our form emails, Google (Gmail), which hosts our inbox, and Vercel, which hosts this website. They process data on our behalf.
  • Google (Google Ads), through the Google Ads tag described above. Google's own privacy policy applies to what it collects.
  • LINE and WhatsApp, when you choose to message us there. Their own privacy policies apply.
  • Stripe, which processes online payments. Its own privacy policy applies to the payment details you give it.

Resend, Google, Vercel and Stripe may process data outside Thailand, for example in the United States, under their data processing terms.

If you book outside Thailand (in Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, Canada, Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands or the United States), we handle your booking from Thailand and share the details needed for the job with the partner who does it in your city. Where the law of your country sets steps for sending personal data abroad, we follow them.

How long we keep it

Form submissions reach us as emails; we don't keep a separate database. We keep them for as long as we need to handle your request and provide the service, and longer only where the law requires it, for example for accounting.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you access to, or a copy of, your personal data
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • restrict or stop using it, or object to how we use it
  • send it to you or another organisation in a common format
  • withdraw your consent

Contact us at contact@happyhomesthailand.com or on LINE or WhatsApp. If you're not happy with our reply, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country: in Thailand, the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee; in Malaysia, the Personal Data Protection Commissioner; in Vietnam, the Ministry of Public Security, which supervises personal data protection; in the Philippines, the National Privacy Commission; in Singapore, the Personal Data Protection Commission; in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec; in the United States, the Federal Trade Commission, the Hawaii Office of Consumer Protection or the Florida Attorney General; in the EU, EEA or UK, your local data protection authority, such as the Spanish AEPD, the French CNIL, the Berlin data protection commissioner or the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

The website uses HTTPS, so what you send is encrypted on its way to us. Only the people who need your details to provide the service can see them.

Children

Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
